Worst remakes of good films
I'll start with

1. The Birdcage pedestian and unfunny version of the brilliant La Cage aux Folles

2.The Ladykillers One of the worst film I have seen based on the great Ealing production of the same name.

2. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Johny Depp' in an appallingly pretentious version of the original

The Wicker Man, with Nicolas Cage.

It constitutes the vicious rape of a movie.

True Grit, no one could possibly be recast as Rooster Cogburn, John Wayne was the only one

Remakes of Robocop, Total Recall, Ghostbusters, The Witches, either politically correct woke rubbish or just plain awful.

‘Not the bees!!!!’

Though the bit before that where cage is just straight up punching women in the face is absurdly brilliant (in a terrible way)

Ghostbusters is the stand out from my era.

Magnificent Seven, not as bad but nothing close to the great original/remake, in my opinion.

The Intouchables is a brilliant French film. I haven’t seen the US version The Upside but apparently it’s not that good.

I saw 10 seconds of Get Carter with Sylvester Stallone and nearly smashed by TV screen.

Never seen it. Only ever heard bad things about it. Plus it has Sean Bean.
